valentines day strawberry margarita

I had too much fun making and drinking this one . I’m a tequila man all day. I put it in everything and I think with the muddled strawberries it blends  nice with the champagne. 

You will need  

2 oz tequila  

champagne of your choice  ( I use the cheapest ) 

lime   ( optional for garnish ) 

2 oz triple sec

2 oz of lime juice  

korsher salt  

a zester ( optional for rimming glass with lime zest)  

9 strawberries ( muddled or blended ) 

Muddle or blend stawberries. Add mixture of lime juice ,tequila and triple sec. Rim the glass with kosher salt and lime zest . Pour over crushed ice and top with champagne.
